I Heart Chaos: Fun with math: Dividing one by 998001 yields a surprising result
There’s all sorts of magic to be had with numbers, and many mathematicians have made entire careers in finding these little tricks that are mostly useless, but fun anyway. Unfortunately, a lot of calculators are going to truncate the results of this trick, but if you manage to get a hold of…
Why Facebook's Data Sharing Matters
The move is being widely condemned in the press as a violation of privacy but if Facebook would do this right, it could be a huge win for everyone.

Facebook HTTPS Secure Browsing
Due to the widely available wi-fi hotspot provided by many restaurants, cafes, fast food shop such as McDonalds, Starbucks, KFC and many more, users are able to access the internet at almost anywhere.
Facebook would be one of their top sites accessed as Facebook is one of the sites with the highest user visits and popularity. Based on the statistics given by Facebook on June 2011, there are currently 750 million active users on Facebook. That would mean that in 10 people, at least 9 people would have a Facebook account so many people will login to their Facebook accounts at public places.
The cons of logging in to Facebook at public places is that your account may be vulnerable to sniffing(stealing packets), MiTM(Man In The Middle) and many more. Many accounts are hacked as the traffic can be sniffed and hackers can retrieve the email and password out of it.
Hence, HTTPS(Hypertext Transfer Protocol) to the rescue. HTTPS will encrypt the traffic so that hackers will not be able to sniff the traffic(and hence retrieving the password, this is not always true however), and hence making your account secure from being hacked.
How to enable this function? p/s: This feature does not provide 100% security but it provides an additional layer of security to prevent hackers from hacking your account.
